I've played the M&B series since Mount & Blade (not Warband) was released when I was 14. I have nearly 2000 hours on Warband, playing a mix of single player and multiplayer mods. Now I know Bannerlord is missing some features from Warband such as feasts, but I myself haven't noticed or cared for these features since Bannerlord was released. Total War games have fully functioning co-op and they're pretty much the same; everybody moves on a big world map, battles can be fought in co-op based on player location. It works perfectly. Bannerlord could work the exact same way with some minor adjustments. Like make the world map turn-based.

Without Steps 1 & 2, the install failed, but changing the proton version allowed it to fire correctly. Command used: protontricks 261550 -q --force dotnet472. After dotnet472 finished I set the proton version back to experimental and left the prefix folder in place, mods were fine after this! :) Multiplayer PVP? I did not play warband but I follow with curiosity the realization of this game. I wait 4 it. Warband features well realized PvP combat modes. Bannerlord will certainly have that as well. Co-op Battles. A staple part of the Mount and Blade series are the huge and crazy battles that take place. I love being able to command an army and see it clash. These features look amazing in Bannerlord, with massive amounts of men and large maps yet they are only really available in a single player mode against bots.
Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client" then right click on 'TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe' and go on properties. Go to the 'Compatibility' section and check the 'Run this program as an administrator' box. Try this first; Delete the "LauncherData" xml document located at "C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs". If no luck try this; Delete the contents of the \Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs folder and try launching the game again.
