As a follow up,of one of the earlier posts, I looked into putting the Jaguar 5.0 TVS1900 supercharger onto the 4.2 block. Very very difficult! The throttle body inlet sits right over the block's water outlet elbow. If would be a great way to go on the STR engine, but much easier to go with AVOS's twin screw upgrade on an STR.

My compression ratio would be around 20:1 though, whereas the Type R is around 17:1 because of different piston shapes, since the bore and stroke are the same.
